Dispatch FAQ

Straight Answers. No Hype.

How does dispatching work?

You tell us your equipment, home base, preferred lanes, and revenue goals. Your dispatcher searches loads, negotiates rates, handles setup paperwork, and coordinates pickups and deliveries while you drive. You approve every load before it's booked.

How do dispatchers get paid?

Typically a small percentage of the gross linehaul on loads we book for you, or a flat weekly fee. Pricing is agreed in writing before we dispatch your first load. No hidden charges, no surprise deductions.

Do I keep control over my truck?

Completely. You're the motor carrier. You decide where you run, when you take home time, and which loads you take. A dispatcher works for you — not the other way around.

Can I reject loads?

Always. Every load is presented with the rate, miles, and details. Nothing gets booked without your approval.

What equipment do you dispatch?

Dry van, flatbed, Conestoga, step deck, hotshot, box truck, sprinter van, reefer, stretch trailers, specialized flatbed, oversized equipment, and heavy haul.

Do you negotiate rates?

Yes — on every load. Rate negotiation is one of the main reasons carriers use a dispatcher. We know what lanes pay and we push for the strongest rate the load will support.

Do you help with paperwork?

Yes. Carrier packets, rate confirmation review, load paperwork organization, invoicing support, and factoring coordination are all part of the service.

Is there a contract?

A simple dispatch service agreement covers services and pricing. There are no long-term lock-ins — we keep your business by performing, not by trapping you in a contract.

How quickly can I begin?

Once your paperwork is complete — MC authority, insurance certificate, W-9, and the dispatch agreement — most carriers take their first dispatched load within a few business days.

Do you guarantee revenue?

No — and be careful with anyone who does. Income depends on your equipment, availability, market conditions, authority history, lanes, operating costs, safety record, and driver performance. We work hard to keep you loaded and profitable, but no honest dispatch service guarantees revenue.

Income disclosure: dispatch income is not guaranteed and varies based on equipment, availability, market conditions, authority history, lanes, operating costs, safety record, and driver performance. See our Income Disclaimer.
